In the final of 3 games over the weekend the Irish beat Wales in a 39 point victory in final preparation for their (Division B) August trip to Estonia for the European Championships. Wales are now well prepared for their (Division C) championship games in Andorra next week, having only lost by 39 points to the higher ranking more experienced Irish national team. Wales biggest challenge of the FIBA competition in Andorra will be to meet Scotland in their first European game.
